Inseparable Action is launching a $1 million advertising campaign across Alaska, Maine, North Carolina, Utah, and West Virginia to urge U.S. Senators to protect Medicaid funding and ensure millions of Americans maintain access to critical mental health care services.
To complement the ads, Inseparable Action is releasing a 50-state report that takes an in-depth look at the devastating impacts of proposed Medicaid cuts on mental health care access, which could affect rural hospitals, access to substance use disorder treatment programs, and youth and veteran mental health services.
The ads and report are part of Inseparable Action’s Medicaid is Mental Health campaign. Just as the health of our minds is inseparable from the health of our bodies, mental health in America is inseparable from Medicaid.
Cuts to Medicaid are dangerous, plain and simple. Medicaid covers mental health care for 72 million Americans and pays for more than 25% of all mental health care and 40% of all substance use treatment in the country. Inseparable and Inseparable Action will do everything we can to protect funding — and we’re grateful to have your support.
More soon,
