HB 2265—our crucial bill to eliminate the fees charged for public defenders, jury trials, and appeals—has passed the AZ House of Representatives and Senate Judiciary Committee.

We’re taking some time right now to thank the more than 60 legislators who have supported the bill thus far. In the full House, it passed 55-2. In Senate Judiciary, the bill passed unanimously.
