Rushing Relief to Saipan After Typhoon

Airlift Heads to Typhoon-Hit
U.S. Territory in the Pacific

Dear Friend,
Samaritan’s Purse 767 aircraft left Greensboro, North Carolina, this morning loaded with supplies to help people suffering in the wake of a super typhoon that hit Saipan and Tinian—two of the Northern Mariana Islands.Give Now
With winds up to 180 mph, Typhoon Sinlaku ripped roofs off houses and caused severe flooding with some hard-hit areas of this U.S. territory expected to be without power and water for weeks to come.
Our plane is delivering shelter supplies, water purification systems, solar lights, and medical supplies to the islands. A Disaster Assistance Response Team will work alongside local churches to provide relief to those who need it most.
We want the families in Saipan and Tinian to know they are not alone. God loves them, and they can turn to Him in their time of need. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1).
Please pray for all those hurting after this devastating storm. Pray for our teams to boldly share the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with those in need.
Sincerely,
Franklin Graham
