About Lustau…one of Spain’s most iconic and highly respected sherry producers, Lustau was founded in 1896 and is known for crafting wines that express the depth, diversity, and tradition of Jerez. Working closely with top vineyards across the Sherry Triangle and aging wines in historic soleras, Lustau has built a reputation for exceptional quality and consistency. A leading advocate for sherry and fortified wines, he leads engaging tastings and seminars across North America on sherry, vermouth, and mixology. Previously, he held roles with New York Distilling Company and Angel’s Envy, and was named a Sherry Educator by the Consejo Regulador Vinos de Jerez. His expertise has been featured in publications including The SOMM Journal and Difford’s Guide, and he brings a creative edge to his presentations with dual master’s degrees in music from Northwestern University.
