This year, I replaced my old thermometer with this one, and I have to say, I’m impressed! My favorite part is the almost mesmerizing blue backlighting and large, easy-to-read digital display.

Now I get the perfect results no matter what meat I’m grilling or cooking. Not to mention, it reassures me that anyone eating my cooking won’t get sick from anything being undercooked. It even has a temperature guide on the thermometer and a separate paper meat chart with more information. And unlike other models, this one has a stainless steel probe that glides through meat like butter.

It’s magnetic, so you can store it on the fridge or BBQ grill when not in use. Also included are a set of adhesive Velcro-style tabs. Since I store my thermometer on the fridge, I plan to use the tabs for something else. Maybe securing the TV remote to the table!

This thermometer has a wide temperature range -58F/-50C to 572F/300C, allowing you to do more than grilling. I had a lot of fun experimenting with candy making!
