Highlights from the President’s Club Spring Celebration
Dear President’s Club Supporters and Guests,
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to those who were unable to attend but remain an important part of this community. The 2026 ASU President’s Club Spring Celebration was a meaningful moment to reflect on our shared impact and the momentum we’re building together.
Advancing Impact Through Innovation
Throughout the evening, we had the opportunity to see how ASU is translating ideas into action. Conversations featuring Dr. Michael Yudell and Rick Leach, as well as Founding Dean Holly Lisanby and Dr. John Shufeldt, highlighted how the university is advancing new approaches to health – focused on prevention, access and improving outcomes for communities here in Arizona and globally.
Their insights brought to life the kind of interdisciplinary work that defines ASU – where research, education and real-world application come together to create significant, measurable impact.
To explore more about the initiatives highlighted during the program, we invite you to visit:

The Food is Medicine team invites you to dive deeper into the initiative at an upcoming event, accompanied by a meal at the Teaching Kitchen. Please register using this link. To learn more about their work, or how you can become more involved, please get in touch with Executive Director of Development, ASU Health, Carly Nieri at carly.nieri@asufoundation.org.
The Power of Philanthropy in Action
We were also honored to hear from ASU President’s Club Scholar Brian Liang, who shared his personal journey at ASU. His story is a powerful reminder that philanthropy is not abstract; it directly shapes student experiences, expands opportunity, and inspires the next generation of leaders.
Because of your support, students like Brian are not only pursuing their ambitions but also giving back and strengthening the ASU community.
A Defining Moment for ASU
ASU continues to lead at the forefront of innovation and impact, driven by a commitment to inclusion, discovery and responsibility to the communities we serve.
As President Crow noted in his remarks, the ASU Charter, the statement that guides the university, calls on us to measure success by whom we include and how they succeed. The impact of that vision is made possible, in part, through the generosity of communities like the President’s Club.
President Crow’s vision and dedication continue to inspire progress. To explore what he shared during his remarks, please view the attached presentation.
Stay Connected
If you’re interested in learning more about the work highlighted during the program or exploring ways to deepen your engagement, our team would welcome the opportunity to connect with you.
And if you joined us as a guest, we invite you to consider becoming part of the President’s Club – a community dedicated to advancing ASU’s charter and shaping its future.
Thank you again for your partnership, your engagement, and your belief in what we can accomplish together.
With gratitude,
