Last week, the Daily Independent ran an article about districts that received 9th Grade On-Track grants this year from the state, and how Phoenix Union has implemented this program since it was first introduced in Arizona.

With these school districts—and more across the state – launching 9th Grade On-Track programs, over 20,000 more students are benefiting from these evidence-based strategies to improve graduation rates, reduce absenteeism, and increase career preparedness.  

But after three years of state funding, these programs are at risk due to state budget cuts. So, it’s “all hands on deck” to make sure this funding is continued in the state budget! Legislators: Fund 9th Grade On-Track

Please take a couple minutes right now to email your legislator and ask them to support 9th Grade On-Track grants in the budget this year. It’s crucial to the long-term success of Arizona and our state!
