MATCH DEADLINE APPROACHING: WILL YOU DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT NOW TO PROTECT THE LAST SOUTHERN RESIDENT ORCAS, THE OCEANS THEY CALL HOME, AND OUR PLANET? MATCH MY GIFT

The last 73 orcas in the Southern Resident pods are wasting away from starvation and toxic pollution. We've already lost Cappuccino, Marina and Ripple - and now their few remaining family members could meet the same fate! Why? Because Big Oil and the shipping industry are prioritizing short-term profits rather than protecting these precious animals. Right now, TWO MEGA-POLLUTING PROJECTS are moving forward that could wipe out this endangered orca family for good - spewing deadly pollution and disrupting their scarce food supply!

Friends of the Earth is fighting to stop greedy corporations and protect the fragile ocean habitats these orcas need to thrive. These new industrial developments will cause massive disruption in orcas' fragile habitat. The underwater noise pollution alone will drive away scarce salmon and increase orcas' risk of starvation. Worse they all but guarantee a catastrophic oil spill - which would spell THE END for these unique pods. These precious orcas are weakened from lack of fish, stressed from fossil fuel pollution and grieving the deaths of their beloved family members. In this state, they're more vulnerable to the destructive impact of commercial megaprojects.

We're running out of time to stop this tragedy. Friends of the Earth won't stand aside while corporations pollute our oceans and drive the last orcas to EXTINCTION. But we need your help!
