Across our shipboard teams, women are shaping the future of expedition travel as captains, engineers, hotel managers, naturalists, chefs and more. Today, women make up 46% of our global field staff, including 34 expedition and assistant expedition leaders—nearly triple the number from five years ago. Women also account for 28% of crew members across the fleet, with representation continuing to grow.

A career at sea reflects a deep passion for discovery—and requires significant dedication and sacrifice from all who choose it. The commitment of these remarkable women helps create the exceptional experiences our guests value, while inspiring future generations to imagine themselves in these roles as well.

I continue to be inspired by the leadership these women bring to every expedition. Their perspectives and expertise make us stronger collaborators, innovators and stewards of the extraordinary places we are privileged to explore.
