Be Among the First to Visit the Theodore Roosevelt…

The wait is almost over
On July 4, 2026—the 250th birthday of the United States—the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library will open its doors to the public for the very first time. It will be a historic day in Medora and the beginning of a new chapter for this remarkable place.
On July 4, participants will be able to explore the Library’s immersive galleries and landscapes and experience the stories of Theodore Roosevelt’s life and legacy in the Badlands that helped shape him.
The evening will conclude with a special drone light show, “Eyes on the Stars: Theodore Roosevelt and the American West.” Additional details about the drone show will be shared in the coming weeks.
Tickets for July 4 and for visits throughout the rest of 2026 (July 5–December 31) will soon be available.
