The William J. Donovan Award® Dinner, the preeminent annual gathering of the U.S. Intelligence and Special Operations communities that honors Americans who have served at the “tip of the spear” as our nation’s first line of defense will be held in Washington, DC, on October 17, 2026. 

This year’s recipient of the William J. Donovan Award® is the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Dan Caine, USAF. Gen. Bryan Fenton, USA (Ret.), the 13th Commander of the US Special Operations Command and the 2025 recipient of the William J. Donovan Award®, will present the award to Gen. Caine. We will also honor Amb. Joseph DeTrani, Raymond Kelly, and Taylor Sheridan.

Since we expect this event to sell out quickly, we recommend purchasing tickets at your earliest convenience. You can reserve a room from our room blocks The Ritz-Carltonand the nearby Georgetown Marriott. Printed invitations will be mailed shortly.
