VoteVets is an organization founded in the height of the Iraq War. We signed up to serve for the right reasons, but we were lied into a pointless war by our so-called leaders. We were forced to deploy under-equipped and with no long-term strategy. And when we came home, there was no plan to take care of us.

Over the last twenty years, we’ve worked to make sure that never happens again.

One of our fundamental beliefs at VoteVets is that war must always be a last resort. And if it comes to it, Congress is the branch of government that must declare war.

We do not need a lawless president taking unilateral action and putting our Troops in harm’s way without permission. Donald Trump does not possess that power. If he sends us into war, it will be his war — and he will own the consequences.

Today, VoteVets is DEMANDING that Donald Trump follow the Constitution and come to Congress before dragging our country into another war. Please, add your name and help us break through.
