We start today in Eloy, where a group of Robson Ranch residents completed a water drive for Eloy first responders. Over 4,500 water bottles were delivered to the Eloy Fire Department, helping those in uniform stay hydrated in the harsh summer heat. Read more about the donation.
Meanwhile, a local coach hopes to bring the community together again this year through a basketball tournament and supporting school supplies for students. Plus, residents were asked to evacuate their homes in part of southern Coolidge as first responders worked the scene of a hazmat situation yesterday. According to Pinal County Development Services, the Coolidge Fire Department and Pinal County Sheriff’s Office requested those within East Steele Road to East Kleck Road between State Route 87 and North Fast Track Road to evacuate due to a hazardous materials release.
