Good morning RJ,
An 11th-grade Florence High School art class has produced many works inspired by local history, and they’re now on display at Pinal County Historical Museum. During June, families going to the museum will find fun activities, including a scavenger hunt, a local geology activity, a desert animals activity, a kids’ reading nook and more. Read more about the festivities at the museum.
Meanwhile, due to a brush fire near Florence, friends have begun a crowdfunding campaign to help a 90-year-old Cactus Forest resident who lost his home. Here is how you can help the resident.
Plus, students from Imagine Prep Coolidge worked hard to bring a short film to lifethat was screened at Harkins Theatres in Casa Grande. On May 2, these students showcased their film, “The Necklace,” in Casa Grande with seats and aisles packed with friends, family, other students and community members. |
