Coolidge High School will receive a new artificial turf field thanks to a grant secured by the district. The field will be used for Coolidge football games and host other events throughout the year. Read more about the project.
Speaking of Coolidge, West Elementary School’s choir earned a gold award for their performance during a three-day music festival. The singing tigers participated in World Strides Heritage Music Festival at Disneyland from May 23-26.
Plus, a national housing and homeownership organization will be building at least one home in Arizona City this fall. Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona will facilitate the construction of the house on Mystery Drive. It will be 1,596 square feet with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, appliances and a garage.
