In an interesting turn of events … Pinal County Supervisor Kevin Cavanaugh was asked by his fellow supervisors to consider making cuts to his office budget at a recent meeting after he requested an additional $53,418 to run his office. By comparison, the board’s vice chairman, Jeff Serdy, asked for an office budget increase of less than $4,000.
And did you see the story about the Mesa man who led Pinal County Deputies on a pursuit through Florence farm fields? He is also allegedly dragging a deputy a short distance before attempting to jump a canal.
Also, looking to pick up a few extra bucks? Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino is offering an 8 to 10 week “dealer school” program where prospective employees can learn to master popular table games at the casino.
