Even as this crisis grows, few states are prioritizing mental health support in schools. Resources like teacher trainings, enough school mental health professionals, and well-being checks are lacking in many states, causing mental health problems to only get worse in our children.

We know how devastating this crisis is and in response, we’ve been advocating for the improvement of mental health resources with our Hopeful Futures Campaign. We’re pushing our representatives for crucial resources that can finally help our children.

But to help us hold lawmakers accountable to their communities, we want to hear from you. How would you like to see school mental health policy change in your state?

That’s why we have been working to increase mental health resources in schools across every state. From doing policy research to getting legislation passed, we will do what it takes to get this done and resolve this crisis.
