Open the issue to learn about The Crimson Dove (Norm Hackett’s sole film appearance), hear from some of our Undergraduate IFC Presidents, and so much more.
Thank you to all our donors. If your name is not listed in the honor roll and should be, please let us know. If you have not given in 2026, please consider donating to the Educational Foundation today. You help make our programs and services possible.

Convention registration is open.
Go to tdxconvention.org to sign up.
The virtual convention experience is accessible to all brothers. The adjusted schedule has been condensed to official business, educational programming (Minerva Sessions), and the awards & scholarship presentation.
The Regular Registration is free and provides access to all virtual events.
There are two tickets available for optional add-ons. There is a polo shirt that can be purchased for $49.99 (choice of size & shipped to you); and $5 raffle tickets. Proceeds from these tickets help the Grand Lodge fund the annual Convention.
Who should attend & which sessions?
All Brothers are welcome to attend any event, some events, or all. It is recommended that registrants attend the business sessions on their own devices to ensure the business can be conducted successfully. Group viewing of the awards & scholarship presentation is acceptable and recommended.
During the business sessions, there can only be one alumnus voting delegate per Charge, regardless of whether the group is active or dormant. Each Active Charge also gets two undergraduate delegates. Ensure your Charge sends its three delegates if it is active. Delegates can identify themselves in the registration form. The voting delegates are often officers from the Charge, Alumni Association, House Corp, or an Advisor.
Minerva Sessions are rotating educational programming selected by the Central Fraternity Office for the undergraduate delegates. These are open to all, but do focus on the changing needs of the active Charges and membership. The schedule will be updated with session descriptions and speaker information once contracts are finalized.

The Central Fraternity Office is asking for video and photo submissions from the Charges, Alumni, volunteers, Officers, and more. The content will be compiled and used as part of the event program.
To share videos and pictures, you can upload to this Dropbox file request link or email CFO@tdx.org.
Send anything that shows your loyalty to Theta Delta Chi and the lasting brotherhood.

- And more…
Submissions may be edited or adjusted to fit; submission does not guarantee use. Please only submit media you have permission to share.

Convention Committee
2029/182nd Convention Site Selection
The Convention Committee is meeting at this year’s Convention to select three possible host locations for the 182nd Convention in 2029.
The three possible locations for the 2029 Convention will be shared on August 1st, at the 2nd Business Session during the 2026 Convention. However, the final selection for 2029 will be made two years out at the 180th Convention in 2027. This will be in Madison, Wisconsin, from July 29-31.
If you and your Charge are interested in hosting in 2029, you can submit a proposal for consideration. Submissions will be considered alongside the committee’s selection. All proposals must be submitted no later than June 30, 2027, to allow the Convention Committee enough time to review them prior to final selection.
To be competitive, please submit an adequate proposal. The other three locations have proposals developed by the Central Fraternity Office throughout the year.
If you have questions on what to include in your proposal, please feel free to email Brian Bertges at bbertges@tdx.org. I encourage you to attend our virtual convention from July 30 to August 1 to learn more. To register, go to tdxconvention.org. See you then!

That’s all for now! Like always, if you have any questions or comments, please reply to this email.
