Your Night Prayer
Today’s Night Prayer is brought to you by Rosary.comA Night PrayerJesus Christ, my God, I adore You and thank You for all the graces You have given me this day. I offer You my sleep and all the moments of this night. I place myself and all my loved ones, wherever they may be, in Your sacred side and under the mantle of Our Blessed Mother. Let Your holy angels stand watch and keep us in peace. Amen.Quote of the Day“Do everything in love.” -1 Corinthians 16:14 Today’s MeditationSpring is the season of nature’s song – one of hyperbole – as life returns to the landscape, balanced by typically temperate weather. The days are longer and the nights continue to grow shorter. There is a chorus of birdsong at daybreak whose chirping melodies are as diverse as the flora awakening. It is in this consolation that we join in the refrain from the book of Daniel as he hearkens all of creation to “bless the Lord”. These are joys made possible by the succession of blooms that spring from the thawing earth. —P. 77 Emily MalloyAn excerpt from Rosaries Designed by Catholics, for CatholicsHere at Rosary.com, we recognize that we’re more likely to pray the Rosary if we have one we absolutely love. It’s very simple, and it’s designed to help us identify our sins and weaknesses so that we can improve and grow stronger in the spiritual life, while providing an excellent ongoing preparation for regular Confession. It consists of taking a few minutes at the end of the day to prayerfully review our actions in the light of God’s commandments, followed by the Act of Contrition. |
