Don’t rely on “eyeball science.” If it’s not evaporating too fast and it’s keeping chips clear, you’re doing it right.

2. Speed ≠ Power

High RPM doesn’t mean better cuts. It means more heat.

Dialing in the right speed (especially for tougher metals) keeps your edges clean and your tools from warping like cheap plywood.

3. Sharpen Up or Burn Out

Dull tools = more friction. More friction = more heat. More heat = melted steel, fried coatings, and a very bad time.
