When Systems Strain, Our Community Steps Up, Peter
 Dear Peter,For the next 5 weeks, we are going to focus on what it means to Hold the Line – coming together as a community to ensure our neighbors continue to get the help and support they need. Now, more than ever, our community is hurting. It is only with YOUR support and partnership that we can Hold the Line to continue to meet these needs. Across the country, behavioral health systems are under stress — funding is being cut, paused, or redirected, job, food, and housing uncertainty is leading to more need for support. But here in Northern Virginia, the calls for help keep coming. Families, parents, and peers are reaching out more than ever before — and we’ve seen a 64% increase in requests for support this year! We are only able to meet this incredible need because of YOU helping us hold the line. I hope you will consider supporting our work and our community with a donation this year! Our trained volunteers are leading free peer and family support groups every week. Our classes and presentations are giving caregivers and community members the tools to help. And our Helpline is connecting people in crisis to hope, safety, and understanding. These lifelines are free — and they’re only possible because of you. Every dollar you give helps ensure that when systems strain, our doors stay open and our programs remain free for anyone who needs them.
