We are gathering a choir for Christmas Eve service! We will be singing a special version of Chris Tomlin’s Holy Forever on both Christmas Eve, as well as Sunday, December 21 for those who will be out of town. Rehearsals will start on November 23rd after service. For more information or to volunteer, contact Marge!MEET FRIENDS Connection Night Bible Study! The 1st and 3rd Wednesday through December!Through December, Connection Night will entail a Bible Study based on season one of “The Chosen”. The Chosen is a historical drama television series about the life and ministry of Jesus, primarily set in Judea and Galilee in the first century. The series depicts Jesus’s life through the eyes of the people who interacted with him, including the apostles and disciples of Jesus, Jewish religious leaders, Roman government and military officials, and ordinary people. The series currently consists of five seasons, with seven seasons being planned. Along with the show, there is a Bible companion study for each season. Who is this for? Anyone who has or hasn’t watched the series. Invite your neighbors and friends! Where can I watch Season One? Currently available on Amazon Prime, the official Chosen App that can be streamed on Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV, BYUtv.org, or The Chosen’s YouTube Channel Where can I purchase the interactive Bible Study? Hobby Lobby or Amazon. We will also have some available at the event! What’s next: Join us on the first and 3rd Wednesday through December for food, fellowship and viewing! We will watch each episode of Season 1 on the projector together! Want to join via Zoom? The first meeting will be on Wednesday, September 17 at 10:00 am AZ time. Join us from 5-7 while we listen to holiday music coming form the speakers, enjoy a yummy coffee beverage and hand out candy from the front of The Station! Help us spread the message of The Reason for the Season!MAKE LIFE BETTER This holiday season, Crossroads Lutheran Church will be supporting two families by providing gift cards for a Thanksgiving meal and gifts for Christmas. More information will be coming pertaining to the Giving Tree! As for now, we are requesting grocery gift cards from Safeway and Walmart! These will be used to provide Thanksgiving meals for these two families. Please bring your gift card donations to the Church Building no later than Sunday, November 23!  Love to decorate? The Station Coffee Co needs help putting lights up outside. We will also be assembling the candy cane handouts for the Florence Holiday Parade! STATION COFFEE CO.
