Three years ago, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and opened the floodgates for far-right extremists to gut reproductive rights across the country.
Arizona became ground zero in that fight. Here are three things that you should know about what’s changed since the Dobbs decision.
🚨 Republicans in Arizona passed a restrictive 15-week abortion ban.
🚨 The Arizona Supreme Court reinstated a draconian law from 1864 — banning nearly all abortions, even in cases of rape or incest.
✅ Thanks to Democratic leadership and community action, we repealed that 1864 law and ended the 15-week ban. Today, abortion is enshrined in Arizona’s constitution.
But the threats to reproductive freedom haven’t gone away — and extremists are already plotting their next move. Next November, we have a real chance to elect more Democrats to the legislature and secure a lasting pro-choice majority that will protect our rights.
Together, we can flip Arizona blue — and keep it that way.
