Are you looking to enjoy a great show while also supporting arts programs for local schools? Then, look no further than Florence High School’s rendition of “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.” There are still two chances to see these talented high schoolers in action, with a show tonight at 7 p.m. and the last on Saturday at noon.
Also, later next month, there will be another opportunity to support some great local causes at the Casa Grande Rotary’s annual Denim and Diamonds fundraiser. On Friday, April 21, guests can enjoy live music, dancing, raffles and more. If there already wasn’t more of an incentive to attend, one lucky guest will leave the event with a $5,000 grand prize!
Finally, if you are looking for even more live music, the Paramount Theatre in downtown Casa Grande will be hosting several shows this month. The first big event will be Thursday, March 16, when professional Elvis tribute artist Jim Westover will perform a St. Patrick’s Day show that celebrates the “King of Rock and Roll.”
After playing events like the Road to Country Thunder, Florence’s New Year’s Eve block party and the Junior Parada street dance, country singer Ashley Wineland was becoming a familiar face in town five years ago.
During the annual Art Studio Tour on Saturday and Sunday artist Neola Bye-Beza hopes area residents take the time to visit each participating artist and learn more about Casa Grande’s creative community.
The Florence Music Festival will return on March 10 and 11 and has moved from downtown to the Whitlow Rodeo Arena. Powerdrive will close out the show on March 10 and Ashley Wineland headlines the following night.
