2026 NFL Free Agency: The Top 100 Players Available and Potential Fits

NFL free agency kicks off March 9, with players officially able to sign new deals starting March 11— and the league is about to go on a spending spree. Between now and then, the market will thin quickly as teams lock up their own stars with extensions or slap on the franchise tag. When the dust settles, more than $1 billion in new contracts will be handed out in just a few frantic days.

Our Top 100 reflects a slight defensive edge: 55 players on defense made the list, including a stacked group of 15 edge rushers. Nearly the entire league is represented — only the Dolphins and Vikings came up empty — while the Packers and Seahawks led the way with six players apiece.
