This Week With Gosar
Weekly NewsletterNovember 23, 2025 Happy Thanksgiving! As you gather around the dinner table, Maude and I wish you and your family a very blessed Thanksgiving. Sound good news this holiday season: the American Farm Bureau Federation estimatesthat the price of a Thanksgiving dinner is down 5% from last year, and well below the 2022 record-high price caused by historic Bidenflation. That’s definitely something to be thankful for!![]() September Jobs Report Shatters ExpectationsSpeaking of Bidenflation, the latest jobs report came out this week, shattering economists’ expectationsadding 119,000 new jobs in September as wages grow and more Americans enter the workforce. It’s another step in the right direction as Republicans in Congress and President Trump work tirelessly to reverse the Bidenflation crisis that brought the country to the brink of economic ruin. The jobs report notes that nearly all of the new jobs were in the private sector and went to American-born workers instead of illegal aliens, reversing another Biden-era trend. Overall, wages are up approximately 4% since last year and models are now projecting a blockbuster 4.2% GDP growth figure for the third quarter. That means more jobs and higher incomes for Americans. ![]() Gosar Votes to Release Epstein FilesThis week I voted in favor of releasing all the files related to the Epstein investigation and for years I have demanded full transparency concerning the investigation, including the circumstances of his death. The same cannot be said of the Democrats, who also for years have refused to release any of the Epstein files or even bother to speak a word concerning the victims. In addition to this week’s vote, the current investigation being conducted by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, on which I serve, continues to provide the most transparent and comprehensive release of relevant information on Epstein to the public. In fact, more than 65,000 pages of documentation have been released and made public by the Republicans on my committee. Sadly, Bill and Hillary Clinton are refusing to appear before my committee to answer questions about their relationship with Epstein. Given their history with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, any attempt by the Clintons to avoid sitting for a deposition would be in defiance of lawful subpoenas and grounds to initiate contempt of Congress proceedings. Why haven’t Democrats shown the same transparency and what else are they hiding? Gosar Reintroduces Legislation to Make Criminal Aliens DeportableThis week, I reintroduced H.R. 6057, the Criminal Alien Removal Clarification Act, legislation that reaffirms and strengthens the federal government’s authority to deport non-citizens who have been convicted of serious crimes, specifically any one felony or combination of two or more misdemeanors. My legislation makes it unmistakably clear that criminal aliens have no right to remain in the United States. If you are a guest in this country and choose to commit a felony—or repeatedly break our laws—you forfeit the privilege of staying here. Period. The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), as of mid-2025, using ICE’s non-detained docket (NDD), include approximately 662,566 illegal aliens with documented criminal histories. This is over half a million violent criminals menacing our streets that need to be deported ASAP. My bill is intended to clear the legal roadblocks some courts are throwing in the way of making our country safe–and great–again. Click here to learn more about this legislation. Democrats Urge Military to Disobey Commander in ChiefThis week, several Democrats, including Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, released a video calling on members of our armed forces to refuse orders ostensibly given by our Commander in Chief and top military officials. Their actions are beyond the pale. President Trump described the sickening video as seditious and Secretary of War Hegseth responded to the video, noting the Democrats are exhibiting “Stage 4 Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Thankfully, after years of missing goals, military recruitment has surged to record highs since President Trump took office as a cultural shift toward “warrior ethos” has made a career in the military enticing once again!Tweet of the Week: Photo of the Week: 📸 Steve and Chrisi Birmingham from Yuma, AZ sent in this amazing photo they titled the Fortuna Foothills Surf and described as the view to the northeast from the base of the Gila Mountains of Yuma County, snapped just before the storms started rolling in.
