Experimentation on dogs is shocking, cruel and ineffective.
Peter,
It might come as a shock to some people that approximately 44,000 dogs are STILL used in research and testing across the United States each year. Not only that, but 20,000+ are kept in breeding facilities where the sole purpose is to make more dogs for experiments. Will you stand up against this outdated practice today?
Dogs are friendly, loving and loyal animals and deserve better than an empty, painful life and death in a lab. Some of the experiments these dogs undergo even involve unrelieved pain and distress, leaving the helpless animals to do nothing but suffer, not knowing why this is happening to them. This all is outrageously inhumane and outdated, considering that results from dog tests are highly inaccurate and better, non-animal testing methods already exist.
