THERE’S STILL TIME TO GET INVOLVED AND HELP SAVE LIVES!
We are less than two days away from the official start of our Walk & Wag 30-Mile Facebook Challenge! Beginning September 1st, you can help thousands of homeless dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens by walking 30 miles in 30 days and raising funds and awareness for our no-kill mission along the way. You can walk anywhere, anytime, and with anyone! Challenge each other and yourself, and then share your journey with the rest of our animal-loving community on our Facebook Challenge group page.
Register today and join the pack of walkers who have already jump-started their fundraising efforts to help save lives! It’s easier than ever to join right from your smartphone. You can even earn some sweet swag when you reach fundraising milestones, plus prizes for top fundraisers in our weekly contests.
Create your fundraiser by going into Facebook Messenger and type “Menu” to access your Challenge Hub, then click on the “Create Solo” or “Create Team” button. If you select “Create Team” this will make you the team captain and prompt you to name your team. Then you’ll be given a link (copy and paste it) to invite your friends via Messenger to join your team! Your friends will follow the same path to register and join your team.
Make sure you’re part of the Walk & Wag Community by joining our Walk & Wag 30-Mile Challenge Facebook Group. Simply click the blue button that says JOIN GROUP. This group is where you’ll find great tips for fundraising, as well as motivation from your fellow walkers. Once in the group, let us hear from you!
Remember you can always access the Challenge Hub and your fundraising page by typing “Menu” in the Walk Chat in Facebook Messenger.
Tatiana and her husband, all-star baseball player Jeff McNeil, adopted Willow in the summer of 2019. To show her thanks for helping to make this four-legged love connection, Tatiana volunteered to be our first Virtual Walk & Wag Ambassador in 2020! Tatiana and her team helped raise much-needed funds during a very critical time, and we are proud to once again have her as part of our lifesaving team.
