Alumnus Helps Neighborhood Amid L.A. Fires
Hunt Turner (Business Administration, ’95), is one of the many Altadena residents impacted by the Eaton fire.
“We were shocked to see the devastation as we were driving up to our community,” said Turner.
Cal Poly alumni can request a replacementdiploma that was lost or damaged due to the wildfires, free of charge.
Students Advance Prosthetic Fit Technology
College of Engineering students are working to refine prosthetic fit technology spearheaded by structural engineering Professor Long Wang in collaboration with the Sony Corp.
“This system has the ability to significantly improve quality of life by reducing discomfort and preventing injuries,” said Wang.
“Volunteering with the Cal Poly Alumni Association allows me to connect with alumni across generations,” said Heller, who volunteers in the San Francisco community.
