The Theodore Roosvelt Presidential Library is now a participating charity for Giving Hearts Day this year. In case you’re not familiar with it, Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour event for charities across North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.
It was founded in 2008 and is now the longest-running “giving day” in the whole country! So we see it as a great chance for friends like you in all 50 states to support this special project.
Since this is the first-ever presidential library and museum created for a non-living president, we’ve always looked at this project a little differently . . . we envision a people’s presidential library that will bring stories to life in ways that are relevant and inspiring to modern visitors.
We’re proud to do all this with help from Americans like you across the country. You’re among our earliest supporters, and your active involvement means a lot to us.
In fact, your active involvement is a wonderful testament to the generosity and community-mindedness of the American people—qualities that Theodore Roosevelt championed throughout his career.
Together, we’re building the next great American tourism destination and a vibrant tribute to this iconic president. As TR himself once said, “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”
