The first week of May is always packed with back-to-back days of cultural importance. May 4, better known as Star Wars Day, pays tribute to one of the most beloved pop culture franchises of all-time. May 5, or Cinco de Mayo, is a celebration of Mexican culture, food, and heritage.
We’re going big for both days on Loupe. Here’s what our week looks like:
May the 4th Be with You with Hit Seekers (Wednesday at 10am ET) — We’re kicking off Star Wars Day early. Pull up a stool at the cantina on Mos Eisley and start your day off right.
Wicked’s Star Wars Day (Wednesday at 8pm ET) — Wicked has Star Wars Hit Parade and Funko Mystery Mini-Boxes to celebrate May the 4th. Use the Force and you’re sure to hit big.
Heat Check Strikes Back (Wednesday at 9pm ET) — Last year’s inaugural event was A New Hope, and this year they strike back. Armed with Blaster Rifles and the new Topps Masterworks, this event will have more BOOM than the time the Death Star exploded.
Susie Sports Joins the Dark Side (Wednesday at 9:45pm ET) — Bigger plot twist than “No, I am your father.” Susie Sports joins the Galactic Empire with a big giveaway of action figures of the baddest names in the galaxy.
MikeyB’s Wander Franco Jersey Giveaway (Thursday at 2:30pm ET) — Celebrate Bowman’s release with MikeyB. Each purchase gets you an entry to win a Wander Franco autographed jersey!
Casa de Mayo (Thursday at 8pm ET) — Looking to win some big-time break credit? Pull a card numbered out of 5 with Casa Breaks, and win $105 in credit!
Zebra Breaks on the Road (Friday at 8pm ET) — Loupe’s favorite wrestling ref is streaming from the road with Impact Wrestling! Tune in for wrestling cards, the new Bowman, and some cameo appearances.
Hit Seekers’ Kentucky Derby Repacks (Saturday afternoon) — Break out the mint juleps and the unnecessarily big hats, because Hit Seekers has Derby Repacks! Everyone’s a winner this time around the track.
Buff’s Breaks F1 Miami Grand Prix Extravaganza (Saturday at 5pm ET) — Buff’s Breaks is kicking off the F1 Miami Grand Prix with a huge F1 stream, all live from the Loupe shop in Miami!
Wicked’s Saturday Night Main Event (Saturday at 9pm ET) — Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting. Wicked has tons of wrestling, UFC, and boxing lined up for a full-blown fight night. Who’s feeling scrappy?
Get to know the Monster Card Shop. We’ve released our second Seller Spotlight video that tells the story of the friendly faces behind the Monster Card Shop. Check it out and learn how they became one of the biggest breakers in the hobby.
(Also, in case you missed the debut episode, here’s the link to the Hit Seekers Seller Spotlight where Greg and Jake Rouse talk about their business and how Loupe accelerated the way they break.)
There’s nothing quite like hitting big with the whole Loupe community cheering you on. Here are the pulls that had us over the moon this week.
LMS Box Breaks hit one of the biggest cards in Panini One with the Trevor Lawrence quad-patch RPA numbered to 10. Heat Check found the Defensive Rookie of the Year with this sweet Micah Parsons FOTL-exclusive Nike swoosh RPA numbered out of 2 from National Treasures.
We have some absolutely giant 1/1s from baseball this week. OPC Baseball hit the Vlad Guerrero Jr. rookie 1/1 MLB Logoman out of Diamond Icons. Casa Breaks pulled the Hank Aaron 1/1 auto from Brooklyn Collection. RIP Hammerin’ Hank!
