Before Thanksgiving, we told you about how Arizona’s childcare waitlist has grown to include more than 10,000 children. We asked you to step up and email your elected officials.  

Arizona legislature: Support Affordable Childcare

Unfortunately, we didn’t get the response we were hoping for. We sent hundreds of emails, but we need more. With 10,000 kids waiting for childcare subsidies, that’s 10,000 lives on hold. It’s harmful to our state’s economy.  

A strong, prosperous economy starts with investing in affordable childcare to help set our state up for success. Can you please take a minute to email your legislators and ask them to prioritize affordable childcare when they reconvene?
