It was easy come, easy go for one man who allegedly robbed a Casa Grande bank on April 30. It didn’t take Casa Grande Police long to find him and he was arrested the same day.

In other crime news, Pinal County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a shooting near Casa Grande on Wednesday night that left a teen seriously injured. The shooting allegedly took place during an argument. The teen is expected to survive after having surgery.

And congratulations to the Casa Grande Union High School Teacher of the Year! English and Mythology teacher Aaron Takhar brought his love for teaching all the way from England to Arizona and has found a home here in Casa Grande.
