Everything you need to know—and everything you can look forward to—
at Historic Festival 43, this Labor Day Weekend at Lime Rock Park
A word from Skip Barber, the Historic Festival Chairman
The Historic Festival has been the heart and soul of Lime Rock Park for more than four decades. This year, we’re especially proud to welcome the Del Monte Trophy Race Group, World Challenge, and Kastner Cup—and to host the Ragtime Racers for the very first time. From the on-track battles to the beauty of Sunday’s Concours, it promises to be one of our most memorable festivals yet.
Thank you for your loyalty and passion for this event. I look forward to seeing you at Lime Rock Park this year.
— Skip Barber
Coming to Lime Rock for the First Time:
The Ragtime Racers
For the first time, the Ragtime Racers are bringing pre-1920 race cars to Historic Festival 43. These are real machines from the earliest days of motorsport—crank-started by hand and run like they were a century ago. Don’t miss their live track exhibitions and one-of-a-kind period paddock display.
For the first time, the Del Monte Trophy Race Group is coming to Lime Rock Park for Historic Festival 43. Once raced by icons like Phil Hill and Carroll Shelby at Pebble Beach, these legendary machines will join their East Coast counterparts to take on our classic Connecticut circuit.
The Kastner Cup—one of vintage racing’s most celebrated all-Triumph events—is coming to the Historic Festival for the very first time. Watch a full grid of Spitfires, TRs, and GT6s battle it out in honor of Triumph legend R.W. “Kas” Kastner. It’s a can’t-miss moment for British sports car fans.
This year’s Concours d’Elegance pays tribute to Giorgetto Giugiaro—the visionary behind the Iso Grifo, De Tomaso Mangusta, Maserati Ghibli, and countless other icons. Among the featured cars, collector Jamie Waters will present his rare big-block Grifo, a stunning example of Giugiaro’s early masterpiece.
