The bonfire was lit, the parade was held and the royalty was crowned at the Coolidge Homecoming game last week. A group of alumni also brought back a flavor blast from the pastat a CHS reunion for a taste test. Anyone got a spoon?

Speaking of tradition, the Florence Town Council decided to continue a nearly 40-year custom and keep holding meetings on Mondays. The council also had a few things to say about the proposed road tax that will be on November’s ballot.
