A Mother’s Day Ecard Made to Wow. Get a special look at how we brought this Mother’s Day ecard to life.

Our creative team kicked off the development of this Mother’s Day ecard with a brainstorm. We presented several artistic styles and concepts, but the approach that stood out the most was a Mother’s Day heartfelt sentiment. We all agreed that a technique of simple line drawings would be a powerful way to express what moms mean to us.

From this starting point, our artist made several sketches and ideas to develop a story. Inspired by the theme of nature and mothers, the illustrations explore this parental relationship. Once our writer came up with the fitting sentiment, it helped to refine the art and tighten the narrative.

Many ideas flowed back and forth between our team of artists and writer during development. The process of editing and tweaking a story takes time and constant collaboration before the concept is brought to life. The timeline can be up to four weeks to see the music and the visuals come together.

We hope you enjoy sending this thoughtfully made greeting to every mom who means so much to her loved ones. From all of us at Blue Mountain, Happy Mother’s Day!
