Responding to the Frozen Southeast

Bringing Relief to the Frozen Southeast

Dear Friend,
Winter Storm Fern dumped snow, sleet, and crippling ice across the South this week—inflicting some of the worst damage on parts of Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee. The heavy precipitation brought down hundreds of trees across the region, many of them crashing onto houses and cars and ripping down power lines. Continued subfreezing temperatures are making local relief efforts difficult. Our hearts break for those who have lost loved ones.Give
Samaritan’s Purse is responding to some of the hardest-hit communities. Three Disaster Response Units—tractor trailers packed with relief supplies and equipment—are headed to Oxford and Corinth, Mississippi, and West Monroe, Louisiana. We will also be helping in some areas of Tennessee. Volunteers are urgently needed to cut up fallen trees and remove debris. We want those who are hurting to know that God loves them and hasn’t forgotten them.Volunteer Now
Please pray for those who are suffering and for our teams as they bring hope in Jesus’ Name.
Sincerely,
Franklin Graham
