| Registration for Historic Festival 44 is now open.Competitors, collectors, and friends of the Festival, You are the reason this weekend carries the weight and character that it does — the drivers who race, the owners who preserve, and the collectors who share extraordinary automobiles with an audience that truly understands them.Alfa Romeo is our Featured Marque, highlighted by an all-Alfa run group and a proper celebration of the marque at Lime Rock. Historic Trans Am returns after a four-year hiatus with the original cars once driven by Posey, Folmer, Gurney, and Donohue, and original cars from the Automobile Racing Club of America (1933–1941) will be on track throughout the weekend, including featured sessions during the Friday, Saturday, and Monday lunch breaks. The Historic World Challenge group continues to grow in both size and enthusiasm, and we are honored to welcome Miles Collier as Grand Marshal and Donald Osborne as Guest of Honor, with Revs Institute presenting a significant display in the Paddock.Enter by July 31, and your five-day entry is $850Beginning August 1, the entry fee returns to $950. Early entry is simply our way of recognizing the loyalty and commitment of those who make the Historic Festival part of their season and secure their place early. The cancellation deadline for a full refund is August 16.Competitors, Register to Race at Historic Festival 44 Here Racing Program Run GroupsFriday practice and qualifying begin at 10:00 am. Saturday and Monday are race days. The following nine groups are planned:Group 1 – B-Sedans: U2.5 Trans-Am / IMSA RS CarsGroup 2 – An Alfa Celebration / All AlfasGroup 3 – Jim Haynes Memorial for Formula JuniorsGroup 4 – 20th Century Classic Competition CarsGroup 5 – Historic Trans-AmGroup 6 – GT & Sporting Cars – Big-Bore / Air-Cooled PorschesGroup 7 – Mid-Century Production GT / Sports Cars / Sports Racing CarsGroup 8 – Wings / Slicks & Formula FordsGroup 9 – Historic World Challenge Cars Groups and classes are subject to adjustment once entries are evaluated. If you are unsure which group your car belongs in, please select “Need Classing” during registration, and we will assign your entry appropriately. We will adjust the run order if necessary to accommodate drivers running more than one car. Our Official Welcome.On Thursday evening, you’re invited to take part in the official opening of the Historic Festival — our celebrated Parade through the countryside. A curated field of just 125 cars travels the 17-mile route as fans line the roads, concluding with a celebration in Falls Village from 5:45–7:45 pm. We receive more than 300 parade requests each year, but as a competitor, you have the right of first refusal before entries open to the public on June 1 — a privilege extended to those who are part of the Festival itself.Parade registration information is included in your race entry form. Competitors, you’re invited to the Friday Evening DinnerOn Friday evening, you’re invited to our Competitors’ Dinner, with Historic Trans Am taking center stage. Fox broadcaster Mike Joy will host, joined by six-time champion Tommy Kendall and our Director of Competition, Dorsey Schroeder, a 17-time Trans-Am race winner an evening of firsthand stories from the drivers who carried the series forward. Competitors, you’re invited to the Delamar Drivers’ LoungeThe Delamar Drivers Lounge is open Friday, Saturday, and Monday from 7:00 am through the end of racing — your home base for the weekend. Enjoy a barista on-site from 7:00–11:00 am serving coffee and cappuccino, along with light snacks, Wi-Fi, and all the comforts that make a race weekend run smoothly. It’s where you’ll pick up your swag bag, timing and scoring sheets, and catch up with friends before and after you head to the grid. Apply for the Sunday in the Park ConcoursOn Sunday, the circuit goes quiet and becomes home to Sunday in the Park — the largest Concours in the Northeast and the only one held as part of a historic race weekend. Collectors and car owners gather along the Sam Posey Straight, with Alfa Romeo proudly featured among a world-class field of rare and elegant automobiles.
