‘Reasons’ by Lindsey Webster, out NOW!

‘Reasons’ is finally out! From the moment I wrote the first track for the album, “Wish You Well’, I knew that it was going to be special. That was in October of 2020. We had all been feeling the effects of COVID for quite a few months, let alone everything else that was going on in the world, and sitting down to write was a great feeling. But I felt something different. The words were coming out and they were so raw and true. And easy to write. Then I began the next song, “Love Of Your Life”, and the melody came right to me, the lyrics also. That trend continued for Part 1 of ‘Reasons’. But honestly, that time in my life ended, and there wasn’t much more to say about it. That was in March of 2021.

We talked with the folks at Shanachie about releasing the project as an EP called Library Lane, and that we would follow up in about 6 months with another EP. But lo and behold, April came around with some inspiration, and bringing with it, “Part 2: Moonlight Way”.

If you listen to the album, the story is there. It’s crazy to look back at those days from my perspective now. One word: growth. I am grateful that I am able to look back on my past and know that all of the “mistakes” I made were opportunities to learn and give me a ‘reason’ to change into a better version of myself.
