Prosecutors are deciding if they will pursue the death penalty against a man accused of killing a Casa Grande teen and an Eloy woman. The man allegedly shot and killed 17-year-old Danielle Murrieta and 18-year-old Leslie Cota on April 24 at a Casa Grande apartment complex.
Also, a candidate for Congressional District 6 has withdrawn her lawsuit against Pinal Countyfor a ballot error that was discovered earlier this month. The error left the names of city and town candidates off of some mail-in ballots that were sent out to early voters.
