The moon wasn’t the only thing to be eclipsed Sunday night. The Phoenix Suns saw their chance at the Western Conference finals dissolve as they battled the Dallas Mavericks at home Sunday evening.

And the Diamondbacks are still riding a rollercoaster of wins and losses, but there’s a glimmer of potential. They narrowly lost to the Chicago Cubs twice this weekend.

In women’s sports, the Phoenix Mercury turned up the heat against the Seattle Storm over the weekend.
