To better honor loved ones, the Maricopa City Council reviewed its memorial marker policy and added changes. The policy intends to honor and respect those who’ve died in vehicle, pedestrian or bicycle accidents while keeping a clean and safe public right-of-way. The city also assists in safely returning memorials to the owners when they’re removed. Read more on what changes were made to the policy.
