When long‑time dog parents Curtis and Christina stopped at PetSmart with their kids to buy dog food, they unexpectedly became a cat family. Before they left the store, the kids visited the PetSmart Charities^® Cat Adoption Center where they met and fell in love with a sweet and playful adoptable cat, who they later named Kobe. After a little convincing from Christina, Curtis agreed—Kobe would be the family’s very first cat. Today, they proudly proclaim, “We are officially a cat family!”
