Peter, what are you certain of?
5 encouraging things I’m certain of Dear Peter,In times of great uncertainty, it’s good to reflect on the things about which we are certain.I am certain that God’s love is for everyone … that each of us is a beloved child of God regardless of race, religion or gender … that God delights in our diversity … and that every time we act with love, compassion and justice, we change the world a little.I am also certain that acting in community makes us all stronger, and I’m thankful that you’re a part of our Cathedral family. Together, we are making this a place where everyone feels welcome—and can find courage and inspiration. And for a short time, when we join together, we can make twice the difference. Our friends at the Alice & Russell True Foundation will match every gift we receive by December 15, up to $150,000. Reaching our full goal of $300,000 would help us continue serving as a trusted voice of moral leadership in 2026, defending the dignity of every person and convening crucial conversations about today’s issues. And of course, we’ll continue to open this sacred space to everyone through worship, music and programs both onsite and digitally. Please don’t feel pressured to give, but if you are able to help, your gift can double with the True Foundation match.Thank you for helping your Cathedral meet this moment as a place of hope in an uncertain environment.
