Bailey is a vibrant 8-year-old who loves painting her nails, dressing up and leading her Cub Scouts troop with pride. She also lives with sickle cell disease — a genetic condition that affects the shape and flow of red blood cells — but it hasn’t dimmed her joyful spirit. Read more.

Along with the unwavering support of her parents, she receives expert care at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. She’s learning to listen to her body, stay healthy and embrace life with confidence and courage.

At the FedEx St. Jude Championship, the annual PGA TOUR golf tournament, FedEx is helping Bailey’s story take flight. As part of the Purple Eagle program, which honors a St. Jude patient who is also the child or grandchild of a FedEx team member, Bailey’s name will be displayed on a FedEx Cessna Caravan aircraft. It’s a powerful tribute to her strength and a lasting symbol of hope that will travel far and wide.
