Hayner Old Trojan Bourbon releases Friday and Saturday!

Today we are announcing the return of Old Trojan Bourbon. Hayner Old Trojan Bourbon was first released around 1896. Finally, after 127 years this iconic Hayner bourbon is back and for sale this Friday and Saturday!

Old Trojan Bourbon is part of our Hayner Vintage Series. Our Vintage Series features historic Hayner labels from 1866-1920.

Today’s Old Trojan Bourbon is a 10 year old Kentucky bourbon (sourced from Knob Creek) bottled at 100 proof with a mash bill of 78/13/9. Tasting notes include nuts with caramel, cinnamon, vanilla and a hint of oak. It ends very clean with a smooth buttery finish.

We know our founder Lewis Hayner would be proud of this offering.

Only one barrel was bottled and it produced 175 bottles. The retail price is $69.95.

These bottles go on sale Friday from 12-5 and Saturday from 12-3.

HAYNER VINTAGE SERIES

Old Trojan Bourbon completes our Hayner Vintage Series. The Vintage Series includes three great whiskeys with historic Hayner labels.

The Hayner Original Rye label is from 1910. Hayner Original Rye features a 6 year double barreled Rye whiskey bottled at 90 proof.

Hayner Original Rye is also offered in a classic Hayner 1 liter jug from 1890. This one liter jug and label are an exact recreation of a Hayner jug of whiskey from 1890. The jugs are hand made in our building by Artistic Earth Pottery.
