My kallah said: Hashem will send help. Maybe that’s…
| “I Never Thought I’d Be Begging Klal Yisroel Like This…”My name is Shlomo Zalman Naor. I’m a simple yeshiva bochur learning in Yeshivas Rashi. And right now, my kallah and I are just weeks away from our chasunah — with nothing prepared. My parents are extremely poor. Growing up, I remember nights when there wasn’t enough for supper, when I quietly pretended I wasn’t hungry so my younger siblings could eat. Now, as a chosson, I dreamed of finally bringing simcha and dignity to my family. But all the expenses have fallen on me alone — and I have nothing. I tried everything. I took odd jobs between sedarim. I cut every corner possible. But no matter what I do, the math doesn’t work. We’re missing everything — from the simplest clothes for the chasunah to the basic furniture for our first home. It breaks me to tell my kallah, “I don’t know how we’ll manage.” She just smiles and says, “Hashem will send help.” Maybe you can be that help. Rav Meir Sirota and my Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Chaim Ze’ev Miletzky, have both written warm letters asking Klal Yisroel to help me stand under the chuppah. Please — if you can help even a little — it will be a tremendous zechus as we build our bayis ne’eman b’Yisrael. May Hashem bless you with simchos, parnassah, and nachas from your children. With heartfelt thanks, Shlomo Zalman NaorCLICK HERE |
