Missing Maricopa senior located by MPD | Daily Headlines

Good morning RJ,

If there is one thing that the people in Kearny are passionate about, it is their high school sports teams. The Ray High School baseball team is gearing up for another season and are expected big things from it’s talented roster.

In Phoenix, two men died at Lake Pleasant in Peoria over the weekend. According to Maricopa County Sheriff’s officials, the two men drowned after their cayak capsized. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

And, in national news, Fox Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch said under oath that the 2020 presidential election was free, fair and not stolen in a Dominion Voting Systems defamation lawsuit against Fox News. Dominion is suing Fox for $1.6 billion, saying the network crippled the company’s business by broadcasting false claims that Dominion changed votes in the 2020 election.

Maricopa Police Department thanks community for their help locating the missing 70-year-old at-risk adult. Alfredo De La Cruz, 70, was found walking on foot near Ace Hardware and is unharmed. He’s been reunited with his family.
