Last month, around 140 Mercy For Animals staff members from around the globe and Mexico-based volunteers gathered at Mexico City’s Monumento a la Revolución—resulting in the largest Mercy For Animals demonstration to date. Our global staff led the performance, while Mexican volunteers led the outreach, handing out information and engaging passersby.
The demonstration brought attention to the suffering of animals used for food and encouraged people to raise their voices in defense of animals. Some spectators even joined in, chanting alongside Mercy For Animals staff and volunteers.
This demonstration is just one example of what we can accomplish together.
There are countless ways you can fight for animals—from urging companies online to reduce suffering in their supply chains to volunteering in your city to promote systemic change.
