Another one of our priority bills was introduced in the legislature! Senator Farnsworth introduced SB 1548 to eliminate Juvenile Life Without Parole!  

Support eliminating juvenile life without parole

If passed, SB 1548 would eliminate juvenile life without parole by making kids serving these sentences eligible for parole after either 25 or 35 years, depending on their sentence. This bill does not guarantee release; it guarantees a chance at a second chance. Because we know that kids grow and change as they get older and mature.
